All data input by Licensee into the Software, and derivative data resulting from the processing of such input data by the Software (“Licensee Data”) is and shall remain the property of Licensee. Licensee shall be permitted electronic access to Licensee Data residing on Altos’ application server at all times, except where limitations on access are required by security requirements, during a period of repair, or during scheduled maintenance of the Software or the application server.

Altos securely maintains data in 2 national centers, 1 in Dallas and 1 in Chicago. One site is the client's active high reliability center. The other site provides a disaster recovery option.

Drug to Drug and Drug to Allergy interaction checking is done at the point of prescribing AND whenever a new medication or allergy is added to the patient's chart. This includes the ordering of chemotherapeutic agents or other medications, as well.

All chemotherapy pathway regimens, others are some, however enhancement requests are welcome at any time. Enhancements are generally discussed after the system has been live for a minimum of 90 days, so all relevant stakeholders have experience using the system. In the event an enhancement is extremely customized (e.g. not appropriate for use by other oncology/hematology sites), a bid will be presented for approval prior to development work being done.

The formal users group is the Advisory Board, which meets and has conference calls with executive management to identify, confirm, and prioritize future technology needs to enhance the oncology process flow and Altos product development direction.

What are the steps for a client to escalate a support request?
Altos’ support help desk staff is available to assist with problems or questions regarding the Software via telephone and/or email 8AM-8PM, EST, Mon-Fri. For the first three months from the date of execution of Agreement, an Altos senior staff member is be assigned as Licensee’s Software application deployment contact. Licensee may contact the Altos technical support help desk via email or by phone. Licensee must maintain a single person as the primary point of contact for Altos.

When an interface goes down, how is that information recovered?
Using standard interfacing techniques, every message sent between two systems requires an acknowledgement from each system to ensure full delivery of each message. Orders out interface check and balance is that test and result are both completed are within Reports. The business office can run reports, i.e., lab tests ordered for a specific date, by location. Report returns patient information, test name, status, whether the test is inside or outside and order date.
