USHIK — A Good Place to Visit

No — it’s not a town in Russia. But, if you’re interested in Meaningful Use trivia, specifics, measures, value sets, etc., the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) manages the United States Health Information Knowledgebase or USHIK. There is an entire section/portal dedicated to meaningful use information — including links to all of the clinical quality measure specifications, rules, and MU objectives/measures.

For example, here’s the list of all Stage 2 measures. From this page you can choose to download/export selected measures into a PDF, Excel, or XML file. Similarly, here’s a link to the EP clinical quality measures (CQM) for 2014. Any or all of them can be downloaded in a variety of formats. There is also a clear reminder on the CQM landing page that states the following:

The CQMs and Value Sets defined in the final rule for stage 2 of meaningful use are not linked to a specific stage of meaningful use but rather to an implementation year (2014) and they are therefore referenced as 2014 CQMs or 2014 eCQMs. All participants in the EHR Incentive Program must report on the 2014 CQMs beginning in 2014 whether they are in stage 1 or stage 2 of meaningful use.

What else would you like to see posted to USHIK?
