Stage 2 Meaningful Use Requirements Released

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have just released the Stage 2 Meaningful Use regulations for the Electronic Health Records Incentive Programs.  The regulations can be found at:

A fact sheet on ONC’s standards and certification criteria final rule is available at http://www.healthit.gov/policy-researchers-implementers/meaningful-use-stage-2-0.

We will provide more information once we have reviewed the rules.

    When will the CMS Stage 2 for Dummies be available so that we can map out what we need to do prior to Jan 2013? The guidelines of which I speak were reasonably delineated for Stage 1 and were helpful in figuring out “Government Bureaucrat Speak.” Example:Eligible Professional
