A new feature will be released shortly that will make it easier for clinicians and practice managers to request a proposal directly from EHR vendors. The Request a Proposal button will be visible at multiple locations throughout the site for participating EHR products. The purpose of this feature is to provide a simplified mechanism for practices that are looking for an EHR to contact up to three vendors at a time, provide necessary contact information, incorporate questions from a short pre-formatted list of suggested items, and receive notification via email when vendors acknowledge receipt of a proposal request. All of this information can be tracked by the individual submitting the proposals as well as by vendors via a dashboard that is accessible when logged into AmericanEHR.
Vendors to whom a Proposal Request can be submitted:
- Acumen nEHR
- Allscripts (Enterprise, MyWay, Professional EHR)
- Amazing Charts
- Aprima EHR
- Cerner Millennium PowerChart PowerWorks
- e-MDs Solution Series
- Falcon EHR
- Greenway Medical Technologies – PrimeSuite
- NextGen Ambulatory EHR
- McKesson Practice Partner
- Vitera Healthcare Solutions (previously Sage EHR)
At the time of publication of this post, registered members on AmericanEHR Partners have indicated that they are looking for an EHR system on behalf of 36,489 physicians in member practices.
