New EHR Rating Data Available on AmericanEHR Partners

New EHR rating data is now available on AmericanEHR Partners. Through surveys conducted in December in conjunction with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American Osteopathic Association of Medical Informatics (AOAMI), over 400 new product ratings have been added. Additional surveys are being conducted in January 2011 in conjunction with the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) with more scheduled to follow.

Survey data is now completely dynamic and real-time. Within 24 hours, the majority of new ratings submitted are checked and added to the EHR ratings database and presented through the EHR Vendor Directory, EHR Vendor Comparisons, and Top 10 EHR Product Ratings.

As practices make important decisions regarding their intention to purchase a new EHR or change their existing EHR system, it is critical to have dependable, peer-driven, trustworthy EHR satisfaction rating data to assist in selection of an appropriate EHR. A minimum of 10 product ratings from verified users is required before rating data can be published. The number of verified raters and date of most recent rating are displayed for each EHR product.

The following nationally certified EHR products now have more than 10 ratings:

  • Allscripts Enterprise (Touchworks)
  • Allscripts MyWay
