AmericanEHR has been working closely with a number of professional societies to collect more comprehensive real-time EHR product satisfaction ratings. Working in conjunction with the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American Osteopathic Association of Medical Informatics and American Osteopathic Association (AOAMI/AOA) we are currently in the process of surveying large groups of physicians (MDs and DOs) in ambulatory practice settings.
We will start to publish the real-time updated EHR ratings on AmericanEHR Partners within the next few days. From that point forward, rating data will be added to AmericanEHR on a daily basis. Check back regularly to see how products are performing individually or via the Top 10 EHR Ratings dashboard.
EHR satisfaction surveys in early 2011 have been developed in conjunction with the American Infectious Diseases Society (IDSA) and the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) as well as a number of additional participating organizations.
By working closely with each professional society, it has been possible to develop specialty-specific questions regarding EHR satisfaction that are automatically presented to members of that particular specialty when completing a survey. This data will greatly enhance the value of satisfaction information to users. An example of the American Osteopathic Association specialty questions are provided below:
