American Academy of Physician Assistants joins AmericanEHR Partners as a Professional Society Partner
Company Press Release
VANCOUVER, November 22, 2010 - AmericanEHR Partners is pleased to announce that the American Academy of Physician Assistants has joined AmericanEHR as a Professional Society Partner. AAPA brings valuable expertise and educational content to AmericanEHR. Physician Assistants work in every specialty area, from remote rural settings to major urban centers, in doctors’ offices, hospitals, clinics, HMOs, the armed forces, and other federal government agencies. "With electronic health records helping physician assistants and other providers offer quicker, flexible, and more cost-efficient health care for their patients, it's important that PAs participate in planning for the development and use of EHR technology," said Kenneth R. Brady, AAPA's Vice President for Membership, Marketing and Strategic Business Development. "The partnership with outstanding organizations like the American College of Physicians and American EHR allow the PA voice to be heard as this technology evolves."
